Lady Captains' 30th Anniversary Lunch

Etchinghill Ladies' recently held a lunch for the past and present Lady Captains to celebrate 30 years of Etchinghill golf Club.  It was attended by 24 ladies.  We were superbly looked after by Debbie Francis and her team and enjoyed a lovely lunch.  Paul Tory popped in to wish us well and hoped we continue to be such a friendly and successful section at Etchinghill Golf Club for many more years.
We were very sorry Doreen Capon, our first Lady Captain, was unable to attend due to ill health, she had sent her best wishes to all the ladies at the club.

Celebrating a Fantastic Year of Golf – Our 2025 Season Highlights

As our golfing year of Board and Trohpy events has drawn to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what has been another fantastic season for the Men’s Section.

Through every competition, knockout, trophy and fun event the enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among our members have made this year one to remember.

We’ve seen some incredible performances across the board a season of Bullet Makser qualifiers, climactic battles in the club championships, our major trophies and honour board events.

Each competition has shown the depth of talent (or luck!) in the club and the spirit that makes our section so strong.

A special congratulations goes to all our trophy winners, knockout champions, and those whose names will be proudly added to the honour boards or trophies this year. Recognition is also due to the many members who consistently supported the weekly competitions, helping make them as enjoyable and competitive as ever.

Our Eclectic and Order of Merit contests have once again been closely fought, with excellent consistency and commitment shown by so many of you. Whether you finished top of the table or simply enjoyed being part of the challenge, thank you for taking part and contributing to another successful season. We can now reveal the following winners:-

Gross Eclectic - Milan Gurung
Nett Eclectic - David Trent
Captains Bowl - Daniel Stapley
Captains Dish - Christopher White

A big thank you to everyone who has supported our events throughout the year. If you've not yet joined a competition and want to meet new people drop me a message or book into a competition on How Did I Do.

We look forward to celebrating the seasons achievements with the winners at our upcoming presentation evening on 15th November, invitations will be sent tomorrow.

Attached are the full list of winners this year as well as the results of the Eclectic's and Order of Merit

Best regards,

Mike Wilkinson
